Apple Device Management Platform Migration

Migrating 300+ Apple endpoints from macOS Server to Mosyle MDM with Apple Business Manager, zero-touch enrollment, and 100% device enrollment.

Project context

At Mallow Technologies, the project moved management of a fleet of more than 300 macOS and iOS endpoints from macOS Server to Mosyle MDM.

My contribution

I migrated the device management platform and established zero-touch enrollment through Apple Business Manager. The implementation brought enrollment and device configuration into the Mosyle MDM environment.

Implementation

  • Enrollment: Established zero-touch enrollment using Apple Business Manager and Mosyle MDM.
  • Configuration: Automated configuration profiles for the managed Apple fleet.
  • Security policies: Applied FileVault encryption and Gatekeeper enforcement through device management.

Outcome

The migration reached 100% device enrollment across the 300+ Apple endpoint fleet, with automated configuration profiles and centrally enforced security settings.
